(Oh gosh, I'm so late from typing this this. xD) Awesome work on the comic, dude. I feel bad for Julien but I'm starting to love her character a bit more. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more things like this from you in the future.
thank you though, i'm pretty happy with the way this round turned out, and definitely glad that i could add some more julien in there, since of the two characters, she's actually the one i've developed the most so far... just most of that development hasn't yet made it out on paper
thank you for all the kind words, i suppose for now it's just wait and watch to see if these two will make it on to the next round c;
i'm glad i've gotten some people to rethink julie a little... since i already had her backstory planned out from the getgo i think i ended up consequently not focusing on her enough... i was more busy trying to figure out mike, and in the process, fairly little of julien's character actually made it on to paper ^^'

That said, the judges will have a lot of explaining to do if this doesn't get you into Round 3.

You know, it's really rather surprising how many of the people who end up going through terrible things in this apocalypse (killing each other, maiming each other, leaving each other behind) might have been good friends, otherwise. :C

Your round has been an absolute pleasure to read! I really, really fell in love with Julien and Mike because of your round, especially Julien, which is why for the longest time I had such difficulties choosing who to kill (IT IS OBVIOUSLY A RULE PEOPLE SHOULD DIE, SELENE). And though I chose Julien, I felt awful about it. ;n; And will continue to feel awful.

don't feel awful! i think julien would have been on the whole okay with the way she died, since it was a lot less messy, prolonged and pride-injuring than being turned into a zombie would have been ^^
