well, round two of *DeviantDead has come to a full close, and nope, i won't be going on...
i don't regret anything, or feel that the judging was in any way unfair. i gave my best and was outdone by the lovely miss ~Synicalsel fair and square.

in all honesty i'm grateful that the round ended up the way it did, since had i been chosen to go on, i think i would have had to drop out, or seriously comprimise my comic-making in order to keep up with school and my internship. the way things are now, i can finish out strong as opposed to having to half-ass the next batch of comics c:

the only regret i have regarding my comics is honestly purely my doing: namely that i didn't get the chance to tell you julien's story! she's still got some plot-twists up her sleeve, as does mike, and if possible, i would like to get a chance to draw out what i had planned c: hopefully this can come to fruition, since i'm itching to make use of the critiques i got on my last round, and wrapping up the backstories for these two seems the perfect opportunity.
i guess i'll just have to wait and see...

for now, the name of the game is schoolwork, which obviously has to come first in any case... and three AP classes, an internship and a history-day project as well as well as the looming issue of college are certainly enough to keep me busy c:
the art will obviously keep coming: between mike and julie's possible backstories, portfolio work for school, a still glaringly unfinished twilight flash and a collaborative project with the lovely miss ~Psycho-Assassin there will most definitely be more to come c:
